How often during these past months have I agonized over Katherine Mansfield's quote while cursing the amount of time it has taken to publish her story. To tell the truth, sometimes I resent her. Tonight on her 122nd birthday I tweeted the publication announcement to Twitter, faced it on Facebook, and blasted it out by email, when I should have been thinking about my next novel.

Feeling guilty, I get back to work so Katherine can live again, only then will all my efforts be rewarded.
